What we collect, why, and how to get it removed.
Cannabisrael is an independent English-language publication about Israel's cannabis industry. We collect as little as we can get away with, and we do not sell anything we collect.
The email list
If you subscribe to our briefing we store the email address you give us, the company name if you choose to add one, the date you signed up, and the page you signed up from. We use it for one thing: sending you the briefing. We do not sell, rent or share the list with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can be removed at any time by emailing editor@cannabisrael.com — no explanation needed. Every email we send also carries an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe we delete the record rather than flagging it.
If this site is ever sold, the email list is part of the publication and would transfer with it. The buyer would be bound by this same policy, and you would be told before the first email from anyone new.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. This tells us things like which country a visit came from and which page it landed on. We do not use it to identify individual readers, and we do not run advertising or ad-targeting trackers on this site.
Emails you send us
Mail sent to our published addresses is forwarded to the editor and kept only as long as it is useful to answer you.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to editor@cannabisrael.com. We will act on it within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, this covers your rights of access, rectification and erasure under the GDPR; if you are in Israel, the equivalent rights under the Protection of Privacy Law.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, we will say so in the briefing rather than quietly editing this page.
