Editorial standards

How we research, source, review and correct what we publish.

Cannabisrael covers a subject where accuracy matters: regulation, health and money. The standards below describe how our coverage is produced and held to account.

Sourcing

Factual claims are linked to their source inline, wherever one exists. We prioritise primary and authoritative sources — the Israeli Ministry of Health and its Medical Cannabis Unit, peer-reviewed research, official company filings and established news organisations — over secondary commentary. Where a figure is an estimate or a source is uncertain, we say so rather than implying false precision.

How articles are made

Our guides and explainers are researched from those sources, synthesised in our own words, and reviewed before publication. We do not reproduce other outlets' articles wholesale; our news feed aggregates headlines and always links back to the original publisher. We write for an international, professional reader and aim for a neutral register closer to a financial daily than an advocacy site.

Health content

Coverage that touches on medical treatment is informational only. It is not, and is not a substitute for, advice from a licensed physician. Eligibility, dosing and treatment decisions in Israel's medical cannabis programme are determined by qualified specialists and the Ministry of Health — not by this site. See our full disclaimer.

Updates and corrections

Cannabis regulation in Israel changes frequently. Guides carry a “last updated” date and are revised as the story moves; an older date means the page has not been reviewed recently, not that it has been abandoned. We correct errors promptly when they are pointed out. To flag one, email editor@cannabisrael.com.

Independence and disclosure

Cannabisrael is independent and not affiliated with any cannabis operator, regulator or trade body. Some outbound links may be affiliate links, and the site may carry limited display advertising; neither influences which stories we cover or what we conclude.
