About Cannabisrael

Cannabisrael exists to fill a simple gap: Israel has a fast-moving, globally significant cannabis sector — and almost no dedicated English-language coverage of it. Hebrew readers are well served. International investors, researchers, operators and patients are not.

We track the beat that matters: regulatory reform, import and tariff policy, the listed and private operators, the research institutions, and the practical realities of patient access. Our news feed aggregates reporting from across the industry and the general press, always linking back to the original publisher. Our explainers are written and reviewed in-house, synthesised from primary sources and refreshed as the story moves.

Editorial approach

We aim for a neutral, professional register — closer to a financial daily than an advocacy site. We summarise and contextualise; we do not reproduce other outlets' articles wholesale. Where we state a figure or a fact, we link to where it came from.

Who writes this

Editorial direction and the weekly note are handled by Tamar Levin, Editor. Reader corrections are welcome and acted on quickly.
